3rd February 2011: Pantai Teluk Kemang, Port Dickson

Yesterday, 3rd of February 2011, was really an awesome day. My uncle and his friends brought me to Port Dickson for some gathering and chilling out time. My uncle picked me up at around 11am and reached there at 3pm. First, we went to his friends house in Shah Alam. Stopped there for half an hour before proceeding to PD. It was a smooth ride along the highway and there really wasn't any traffic jam until the exit to PD and the road along the way to Pantai Teluk Kemang after the roundabout with the Port Dickson landmark. I don't know how it's called so let's keep it that way. Haha.

We reached Pantai Teluk Kemang around 4pm or so because of the traffic jam. The place is beautiful but crowded. It was not a surprise to see a lot of people there since it was a holiday yesterday. "Chinese New Year maa. Everybody want to go out lah. Jalan jalan cari makan lah. Mau cari parking pun susah lor." Haha. We can't find a place to park, so we parked far from the beach.

However, we did managed to find a good spot to settle ourselves right in front of the beach. My first thought was, this would be a great place to have fun. And I wasn't disappointed!

First we went for the banana boat ride. All of us went for it. Even the baby! But she and her mother rode on the boat with the driver while the rest of us on the banana boat. It was so fun! We went from the left coast of the beach to the right coast of the beach. I had water splashed all over my body since the boat hit the waves a few times. The sea was calm though. Unlike in my hometown where the waves are like 2 metres high. Not a suitable condition for these kind of activities.

After the banana boat ride, we went for jet skiing! My favorite activity of the day. First, I rode along with my uncle's friend. After that, we switched and I drove. It was so fun and cool! I got to thank my uncle for giving me this opportunity. He rent two jet skis for RM260, RM120 each for half an hour!

We ended the day with a shower to clean ourselves and had dinner by the side of the road. Nasi kukus and ayam panggang were our menu. Reached home around 9pm and uploaded all the photos into my Facebook.

I took a lot of good pictures on the beach. Here are some of those:

All in all, I had a great time. I did a lot of firsts! First time in Negeri Sembilan. First time to Port Dickson. First time on a banana boat ride. And first time riding on a jet ski. Thanks for taking the time to read this blog. I got nothing to do at the moment, so might as well update my blog. Wishing you all a prosperous Chinese New Year if you are celebrating. If you are not, Happy Holidays from me!

Bye!! :)
