If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and surrender my body to the flames, but have not love, I gain nothing.
Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails.
But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away. For we know in part and we prophesy in part, but when perfection comes, the imperfect disappears.
When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I put childish ways behind me. Now we see but a poor reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known.
And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.

Medical Checkup and Graduation
I feel like I have to post something in my blog today.
1. First of all, I've done my medical checkup for JPA last Monday and it went pretty well. I did it in Columbia Asia Hospital in Puchong. And the fee was quite reasonable, costs us only RM158.45. But there is this one conflict regarding our mantoux test. We have to be there again this Friday at 11.30am to check the mantoux test results. The problem is, we are having our graduation ceremony on the same day and at the same time! Gosh..hopefully they allow us to push the time to a later hour.
2. To my friends who have not done their medical checkup, I suggest you guys do it at Columbia Hospital Puchong. Around 20 minutes drive using cab from Subang (depends on the traffic, this is just a rough estimate). The service was good. They (the nurses) were really organized and know what they are doing. Our checkup went smoothly although there are 8 of us doing the checkup on the same day.
3. First was the urine test, then the blood test. Next, we took our x-rays and head off to the nurse station to measure our weight and height, blood pressure and colour blindness. After that, they test your eyesight and finally was the mantoux test.
4. Everything for Rm158.45. After three days, you are required to return to the hospital to check the results of the mantoux test and also consult with a doctor, which will cost RM30 only. So, the total cost for the checkup is only RM188.45. If you're a girl, you will have a pregnancy test which will cost another RM20 and your total would be RM208.45. Quite cheap don't you think? :)
5. Tomorrow is graduation day! Finally graduating from CPU and earn myself a Canadian Secondary School Diploma. My family will be there and I can't wait to wear the robe and square hat that will mark the end of my one year study in KL.
"I've learned and experienced a lot of things here. Not only in education but also in my personal life. Although life in KL is one year, it is one year worth it. Truly life-changing for me and the experience I get from here has made me more mature. Thank God for His blessings in this year."

What Are Words (Piano Cover by Bryan Rundi)
What Are Words
A truly sweet and touching song about a boy who deeply expresses his love towards the girl that he loves the most. And this song is also inspired from Chris Medina's own experience.
In order to honor this beautiful, lovely song, I came up with a piano cover for it. Hope you guys like my piano version of the song. :)

The Power of Positive Thinking
Actually I don't know what to blog for today but I just feel like posting something. Haha.
So, for today's blog, I would like to share with you guys one of my principles in life which is "Being positive".
My principle is to live life positively. I believe in the power of positive thinking. Be happy and forget about the worries. Even if I am faced with those worries or problems, I will leave it to God. I know sooner or later, God will lift those burden from my shoulders.
There is this saying that if you think positive, it will lead to a positive outcome. Trust me, it really does. I don't know how to explain this but it all has to do with your "psychological thinking". When you think positive, your brain will create a stimulus that reacts to your positive attitude and sends it to your whole body which eventually leads to positive actions.
Put it this way. When you are happy, you will have the mood and the motivation to study. When you study well, you will get a good result in your exam. You are happy with your result. And your family and friends are happy for you as well. Then, you get offered into universities and such. The world of opportunity has opened for you.
See what happens here? It's like a snowball or a chain effect. A good outcome leads to another. It all starts with you having a positive mental attitude! :)
That is why many people say, "Start your day with a smile". When you begin your day in a happy mood, trust me that everything will go your way for the entire day!
Although there are times when we are sad or having a bad day, just ignore it okay? Life is like a circle. Sometimes you are at the top, sometimes you are at the bottom of the circle. When you are at the bottom, accept the fact and just go with the flow. It is when you are on top that really matters. That is when you should make use of your full potential and make the best out of life!
So friends, THINK POSITIVE!!! Think that there is always a light at the end of the tunnel. Think that behind every problem, there is always a blessing in disguise.
To end this, I will leave you all with this quote:
"The positive thinker sees the invisible, feels the intangible, and achieves the impossible."
God bless.

Canadian Pre-University 2010/2011 - And It's A Wrap!
After a year of perseverance, a year of obedience, a year of tolerance and a year of hardships, we've finally come to the end of college! The end of my two semester of studies in the International Canadian Pre-University (ICPU) at Taylor's College. It's fair to say that I've learned a lot, both academically and non-academically.
| The Canadian Pre-University Building! |
If there is one thing that CPU has taught me is that, I've learned to maximize my true potentials. As you develop yourself as a student, you will find that you develop yourself into a better and mature individual. This is what CPU has taught me. In my opinion, I've benefited a lot from learning how to manage my time well, how to use my creativity to design a project, how to prepare a good presentation and how to be independent. I think that as a pre-university program, CPU has indeed fulfill its purpose to prepare me for my future years in university.
In CPU, your creativity, your charisma and self-confidence are all developed through interactive class learning. Unlike the traditional class environment in secondary school, the class experience in CPU is more casual and very interactive; which is what I like the most. The lecturers are friendly and they really know how to teach! Yes! Whether it is a business lecturer, a maths lecturer or a physics lecturer, you can be assure that they are all good teachers. If you were to ask me which lecturer is the best, I wouldn't know how to answer. They are all equally good. Mr.Tan, Mr.Wise, Ms.Joanne, Ms.Laura, Mr.Singh, Mr.Boucher and Ms.Malar; these are my lecturers. Thank you for your guidance teachers! :)

What are some of the fun that I enjoy doing in Taylors? THE MUSICAL!!!! Last year, I was involved in the Taylor's Pre-U Musical. 3 months of weekly practice was worth it in the end. The 3 night show was a hit for students in college. If I am not mistaken, we had two nights full and the audience were unbelievably amazing. Performing with other talented musicians made me feel that my musical talents were much appreciated here as it is back home. I would like to thank Mr.Suchkov, Ms.Lindsay and Ms.Nicole for giving me the opportunity to be part of the musical. It was an awesome experience that I will never forget. And not to forget, the Talent Show last month was equally amazing. I performed for Ezzah as her pianist. The other performers were also amazing. It was stunning to see the abundance of talents that you can find around in college.
Apart from that, there are a lot of amazing fun stuffs that you can do in college. There is this Hear Us Out Conference, Taylor's Jazz Band, Taylor's Music Festival, Prom Night, Dress-Up Week and Futsal Tournaments that every students in college can be involved with. You certainly do not want a boring college life right? Enjoy the fun while it lasts! :)
And this leaves us with the question: What's next? Well, I would say that UNIVERSITY and CANADA is next! I'm so excited at the prospect of studying in an oversea country. Not Australia, not New Zealand, not Japan, not UK but CANADA!! To be specific, I will be studying Mechanical Engineering in the University of British Columbia, Vancouver. This will open a new chapter in my life. Something new and something I am really looking forward to.
Once again, before I end this long, winding blog, I would like to express my gratitude to all my lecturers and friends for making life in CPU a meaningful one. It has been a year full of joy and memories. Also to my parents for their support throughout the year. Without them, I would not have been here to experience CPU.
I'm a CPU Monster and I'm glad to be part of the Canadian Pre-University Class of 2010/2011!
Au revoir.

Secrets of Success
When I woke up this morning lying in bed, I asked myself, 'What are some of the secrets of success in life?' I found the answer right there, in my very room.
The Fan said.. Be Cool.
The Roof said.. Aim High.
The Window said.. See the World.
The Clock said.. Every minute is precious.
The Mirror said.. Reflect before you Act.
The Calendar said.. Be up to date.
The Door said.. Push Hard for your Goals.

Gawai Away From Home
Today, my friends organized a Gawai & Kaamatan party in his unit. It was a small party given that there are not many of us Sabahan and Sarawakian here. But I really like the fact that our Chinese and Indian friends came to the party and celebrate the festival together with us. Very 1Malaysia! :)
We hang out and eat and sang songs along with our guitars. Nothing much to say. So, here's some of the photos from today's party:

June Update
I just wanna update myself that final exam is around the corner but I haven't revised anything yet.
This means that the end of semester is near; the end of college is near. After the finals, there is this prom night but I'm not going cause......you don't have to know about it. Haha. Then our graduation ceremony will take place on the 24th of June. I can't wait to graduate from college. I'm so excited to receive a Canadian Diploma. Wuuuu!!
Biro Tata Negara (BTN) Camp will take place on 4 July, a week after graduation. I have no idea what it will be like. The only thing that I know is that they will brainwash you to love and be loyal to the country.
On the 12th of July, us JPA Scholars will have our pre-departure meeting. And we will get our blazers!! Yeah. I love wearing blazers. Especially if they are custom-made for you! By then, hopefully we will have our medical checkup forms so that we can do our medical checkup before going back to Sarawak. So many things to do yet so little time. Never mind. When all is done, then there is nothing to worry about.
I can't wait to go back to Bintulu one month from now. Looking forward to meet with my family and close friends and spend time with them before heading off to Canada. Canada will be another chapter in my life. Something that I am really looking forward too. Wish me luck! :)
Regards,
Bryan Rundi

Trust Your Gut
Start paying attention to your instinctive feelings in situations where you need it the most.
If you're under a lot of stress or you're at a major turning point in your life, weighing the pros and cons might confuse you even more.
Sometimes, knowing how you 'feel' immediately points you in the right direction.
